1. Fertilise Your Garden.

Most soils do not contain all the essential nutrients needed to optimise your plant growth. Furthermore, as plants grow, they absorb the nutrients in the soil and deplete the levels of nutrients in the soil. Hence, most gardens need to be fertilised to ensure plants can have the nutrients that they need.

Coffee contains key minerals for plant growth including, nitrogen, calcium, potassium, iron, phosphorus and magnesium. All you need to do is mix the ground coffee into the soil for your plants to benefit.

Also, gardener’s will enjoy the added benefit that coffee deters pests such as slugs. Your young plants can grow with less risk of being munched on by slugs.

2. Use It as a Natural Cleaning Scrub

Why not try coffee grounds as a cleaning agent if you are trying to avoid using chemicals. Use them to scour your sink, polish your cookware or even clean your grill.

But a word of caution, do not to use coffee grounds on any kind of porous material, as they can cause brown stains.
